Orders and Product Selection

Flexible molding is frequently manufactured or prepared specifically for a particular order and application. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that the molding profile, dimensions, application, orientation, quantities, and other order specifications are correct before placing an order.

We are happy to help with product selection and application questions before you order. If you are uncertain whether a molding will match your existing molding or work for your application, please contact us before placing your order.

Where available, our View Full-Scale feature can be used to print and compare a molding profile with your existing molding. Printed profiles should be verified against the stated dimensions to make sure your printer has reproduced the image at the correct scale.

Product Information and Dimensions

We make every reasonable effort to provide accurate product descriptions, dimensions, photographs, illustrations, pricing, and other information. Product images are representations and may not exactly match the appearance of the product received. Molding profile images are not to scale unless specifically stated otherwise.

Flexible molding dimensions may vary slightly due to manufacturing tolerances. Unless otherwise specified, molding dimensions may vary by up to 1/8 inch from the dimensions shown.

Colors, textures, grain patterns, and other appearance characteristics may vary between products and production runs.

Products, specifications, availability, and pricing are subject to change without notice. If an ordered product becomes unavailable or a significant change is required, we will contact you before making a substitution that materially affects the product ordered.

Custom and Non-Stock Products

Most flexible molding products are manufactured or prepared specifically for the customer's order. Unless an item is specifically identified as In Stock or otherwise stated to be returnable, it should be considered a custom or non-stock product.

Custom and non-stock products are not returnable except in the case of an incorrect, damaged, defective, or otherwise warranted product.

Please carefully review your order before submitting it.

Order Cancellations

Custom and Non-Stock Items

We begin processing orders as quickly as possible so that production can begin without unnecessary delay.

Custom and non-stock orders may generally be cancelled within 24 hours after the order is placed, provided production or other custom processing has not already begun. Once production has begun, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will confirm whether the order can still be cancelled.

In-Stock Items

In-stock items are generally prepared for shipment quickly. An in-stock order may be cancelled for a full refund if the cancellation request is received before the order has shipped.

Once an order has shipped, it is subject to our return policy.

Returns

Because most of our products are manufactured or prepared specifically for an order, custom and non-stock products are not returnable.

Products specifically identified as In Stock may be returned subject to the following conditions:

A return request must be made within 30 days of the shipment date.
You must contact us before returning the product and obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
Returned products must be unused, unaltered, and in resalable condition.
Returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee to help cover inspection, handling, and repackaging.
Return shipping is the customer's responsibility unless the return is the result of an incorrect, damaged, defective, or otherwise warranted product.
We strongly recommend using a shipping method that provides tracking and adequate protection against loss or damage.

Original shipping charges are not refundable unless the return results from a problem for which we are responsible.

Warranty and Problem Resolution

We want you to receive the product you ordered in good condition and suitable for the application for which it was ordered. If you believe you have received an incorrect, damaged, or defective product, please contact us promptly.

Most problems can be evaluated with photographs of the product along with your invoice or order number and a description of the issue.

Please do not cut, alter, install, paint, stain, finish, or dispose of a product that you believe may be defective or incorrect until you have contacted us.

If we determine that a product is defective or that an error occurred in fulfilling your order, we will work with you to make it right. Depending on the circumstances, this may include replacement of the affected product, correction of the order, or refund of the purchase price of the affected product.

Our obligation for an incorrect, damaged, or defective product is limited to the repair or replacement of the affected product, or refund of the amount paid for that product, and reasonable ground shipping charges when applicable.

Limitation of Liability

Customers and installers are responsible for inspecting all products for correctness, dimensions, condition, and suitability before cutting, altering, finishing, or installing them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flexible Molding Solutions, LLC and Trimster.com are not responsible for labor or installation costs, removal or reinstallation costs, finishing or refinishing costs, contractor charges, project delays, lost time, lost profits, loss of use, or other incidental, indirect, special, or consequential damages arising from an incorrect, damaged, delayed, or defective product.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Shipping and Delivery

Shipping charges, when applicable, are shown or communicated before the order is completed. Most orders are shipped by ground transportation. Large, unusually long, or oversized products may require alternate shipping methods.

Manufacturing, processing, shipping, and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Carrier delays, weather, routing problems, and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect delivery.

We recommend that installation work not be scheduled until the product has been received and inspected.

We are not responsible for labor costs, contractor charges, project delays, lost time, or other consequential costs resulting from manufacturing, shipping, or delivery delays.

If an order is lost or damaged in transit, please contact us promptly. We will work with you to resolve the problem. Please retain the product, shipping container, packaging materials, and shipping label until the issue has been resolved, as photographs or inspection may be required.

For shipments requiring a delivery signature, visible damage should be noted with the carrier at the time of delivery whenever possible.

Measurements and Application Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and application information when ordering products manufactured for a particular curve or application.

Accurate measurements help ensure the best fit and can make installation easier. Minor measurement variations may sometimes be accommodated by the flexible material, but the suitability of a product ultimately depends on the particular molding, application, and installation conditions.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed upon in advance, payment is required when the order is placed.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit and debit cards. We do not ship C.O.D.

Payment may also be made by check in advance. Orders paid by check will not be processed until payment has been received and cleared.

Credit and debit card payments are processed securely through our payment service provider. Trimster.com does not store complete credit or debit card numbers on its servers.

Installation and Product Use

Flexible molding must be selected, prepared, installed, finished, and maintained appropriately for the intended application.

Customers and installers are responsible for determining whether a product is suitable for a particular project and for following applicable installation instructions, accepted construction practices, building codes, and safety requirements.

Always observe the safety instructions provided for tools, adhesives, coatings, fasteners, and other products used during installation.

If you are uncertain about an installation procedure or code requirement, consult an appropriate qualified professional or local authority.

Customer Comments, Reviews, and Submitted Content

We appreciate customer comments, reviews, photographs, and other feedback.

If you voluntarily submit comments, reviews, photographs, or similar content to us, you grant Flexible Molding Solutions, LLC permission to reproduce and use that content for our business and promotional purposes, including use on Trimster.com, provided that we do not identify you personally without your permission.

We reserve the right to decide whether submitted content is appropriate for publication and are not obligated to publish any submission.

Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on Trimster.com accurate and current. However, typographical errors, incorrect specifications, pricing errors, and other mistakes may occasionally occur.

We reserve the right to correct errors and update website information. If an error materially affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact you before proceeding whenever reasonably possible.
